Terms of Service

Reservation Policy

*A deposit of 50% of the total trip cost is due at the time of booking a trip reservation. The deposit will go towards the total balance due for the trip.

*Total balance of trip is due 60 days prior to the pre-scheduled trip date. If balance is not received on time, the reservation will be considered a cancellation, and any refund will be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy

Participants have the right to cancel their trip. Life is unpredictable. We get it.
Please send cancellations via email to foxhilladventures@gmail.com. The date that the cancellation email is received will determine the following actions in terms of our cancellation policy. Please note that if an emergency occurs, you have the option to make a substitution, transfer to another trip date, or cancel your reservation.
*(1) If you are unable to attend a scheduled trip, you have the option to substitute another person(s) into your reserved spot(s) without penalty. Please note that Fox Hill Adventures (FHA) will not reimburse trip deposits or trips paid in full for substitutions. If you wish to make a substitution, please notify Fox Hill Adventures (FHA) via email and forward necessary trip information to the person(s) you are substituting.
*(2) Can’t make it to your scheduled trip, but still want to join us? You have the option to transfer your trip deposit and/or payment to another trip date if you notify FHA 90 days or more before the scheduled trip date. For transfer notices 60 to 90 days prior to the  scheduled trip date, a $25 transfer fee will be applied per person. Transfers made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled trip date will be considered a cancellation and will follow the Fox Hill Adventures’ cancellation policy outlined in the terms of service below.
*(3) If you wish to cancel a trip within 48 hours of booking a reservation, you will receive a full refund, including the trip deposit.
*(4) Cancellations made after 48 hours of the date of booking and up to 90 days before the scheduled date of the trip will receive a full refund, less a $10 Administrative Fee per person.  
*(5) Cancellations made 60 to 90 days prior to the date of the scheduled trip will receive a refund for any balance paid over 50% of the total cost of the trip.
*(6) Cancellations made 30 and 60 days prior to the date of the scheduled trip will receive a refund of 25% of the total cost paid for the trip.
*(7) Cancellations made less than 30 days before the date of the scheduled trip will forfeit any refund and will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee per person.
*(8) If Fox Hill Adventures (FHA) cancels a trip for safety or emergency reasons, a participant’s payments can be transferred to another trip date and/or location. Participants also have the option to request a full refund for FHA safety/emergency cancellations.
*(9) If Fox Hill Adventures (FHA) cancels a trip due to low enrollment, a participant’s payment can be transferred to another trip date and/or location. A participant also has the option to request a full refund for FHA low enrollment cancellations.

Refunds

* Fox Hill Adventures LLC will return refunds and will attempt to notify participants using the contact information provided within the reservation.

*Debit or Credit Card Purchases:  Refunds for debit or credit card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank or credit card used to pay. In the event that a customer has cancelled this card, they will need to contact their card company to have the funds released. We cannot issue refunds to any card other than the one used to pay.

Money Orders or Cashier’s Check Purchases:

*FHA will mail a check for refunds of money order, or cashier’s check payments to the address provided by the participant within the reservation. You may update the address at the time you request the refund. Dependent on mail delays, it may take up to 14 business days for the check to arrive.
