Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
Coast to Coast Tour

If You Like Water, Nature, & History

This Tour Has It All!

The tour will bring you from the coast of
Lake Superior,
nestled in the Northwoods of Gogebic County
on the western most tip
of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (aka the U.P.),
southeast to the famous
Peshtigo River.
Known for some of the Best
White-Water in the Midwest!

If Rafting Rapids Isn’t Your Jam…

There is also plenty of opportunity to hike, bike,
or just float lazily down the flat water of the Pesh!

We then travel eastward along the northern shores of
Lake Michigan
to the tranquility of
the Garden Peninsula.

There we will visit the restored
Historic Iron-Smelting Harbor
Town of Fayette.
Discover  what life was like in the U.P.
in the late 19th century.

We will camp that evening near a sandy beach and
watch the sun go down over Lake Michigan’s horizon!

We leave the Garden Peninsula
and continue east towards the
“Big Mac”
Michigan’s famous Mackinac Bridge!

We will catch a ferry boat to spend the afternoon
Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, or “Horsing”
around the historic and beautiful
Mackinac Island.

After returning to the mainland,
the tour heads north back to the
southeast coast of Lake Superior and
the notorious Whitefish Point,

the ever-popular Tahquamenon Falls,

and back west to the seclusion
of the Seney National Wildlife Refuge.

Here we will get to Explore  the unique and
protected wildlife of the Seney Wetlands
by paddling down the Manistique River,
or hiking & biking the numerous miles of trails,
and rustic roads throughout the refuge.

The tour’s last days take us to the western U.P.
and back to the shorelines of Lake Superior!
Were we trek to Lake of the Clouds  nestled
in the Porcupine Mountains.

Finally,
visiting the magnificent Black River Falls,

or pedaling up the single-track of Chippewa Hill,
and
Embracing  your final day and thoughts
while looking out
1,200 feet above the
Lake Superior landscape from the top of the

Copper Peak Ski Flying Overlook!
